Dr Jaiteerth Raghavendra Joshi has been appointed as the new Chief of BrahMos Aerospace, the organisation behind the world's most potent supersonic cruise missile system.

• Dr Joshi has made significant contributions to missile technology, non-destructive testing (NDT), and the professional skill development of industry experts.
• An alumnus of Osmania University, where he earned his BTech in Mechanical Engineering, Dr Joshi also holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Warangal.
• His extensive experience includes key contributions to India's missile programs, particularly the Prithvi and Agni missile systems.
