On 19th February 2025, India was elected to the Vice Presidency of the International Association of Aids to Marine Navigation (IALA) at its first General Assembly in Singapore.
The Indian delegation is led by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways Secretary, T.K. Ramachandran.
