Acharya Satyendra Das, chief priest of Ayodhya Ram temple who passed away on Tuesday( 11 February 2025), was given 'Jal Samadhi' in the Saryu river in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.

• He breathed his last at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) in Lucknow.
• He was admitted to HDU (High Dependency Unit) of the Neurology ward on February 3 with a stroke in critical condition.
• He had been battling health issues for the last few days and passed away at the age of 83. 
• Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Acharya Satyendra Das.
