Mohun Bagan Super Giant defeated Bengaluru FC 4-3 in a penalty shootout in the Durand Cup 2024 semifinal at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata. Mohun Bagan have been excellent in the Durand Cup so far.  They started the competition with a 1-0 win over Downtown Heroes, backing it up with another 6-0 victory over India Air Force.

• Their final group stage match against arch-rivals East Bengal got cancelled in Kolkata.
• Mohun Bagan will play Northeast United in the final of the Durand Cup 2024.
• The Durand Cup 2024 Final will take place on Saturday (August 31). This will be the 23rd meeting between Mohun Bagan SG and Northeast United. The final is set to start at 5:30 pm IST on Saturday.
