Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has inaugurated the Oxygen Bird Park, also known as Amrit Mahotsav Park, along the Nagpur-Hyderabad National Highway-44 in Nagpur, Maharashtra.
This eco-initiative, developed by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), spans 8.23 hectares, with 2.5 hectares designated for social forestry.
The park is designed to serve as a natural habitat for various bird species while providing a recreational area for both locals and visitors.
With a development cost of Rs. 14.31 crores, the project aims to harmonise environmental sustainability with community enjoyment.
