International Tiger Day 2024, also called as the Global Tiger Day 2024, is observed every year on July 29 to raise awareness about the magnificent but endangered animal.

The day is a reminder of the collective effort of 13 tiger range countries which came together to create TX2- the global goal to double the wild tigers' population in 2022.

The day was first established in 2010 at the Saint Petersburg Tiger Summit.
