Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha inaugurated the 2nd State Level Shehri Samridhi Utsav organized by Tripura Urban Livelihood Mission at Children’s Park, Agartala.

• Addressing in the inaugural ceremony Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha said that the Prime Minister is trying to take the women of the country to the forefront.
• The state government is also implementing various schemes to make women self-reliant. Apart from 33 percent seats are reserved for women in government jobs.
• Also 50 percent reservation has been made for women in allotment of government market stalls and shopping complexes. 
• The main thrust of the development of the state government is to extend the benefits of development projects to the people living in the most marginalized areas. “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayaas” are the main driving forces of the current government.
• The government has given utmost importance to the socio-economic up liftment of the people of the state, he added.
