As part of the Earth Day celebrations, the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) has introduced and activated India’s largest Climate Clock at the CSIR Headquarters Building in Rafi Marg, New Delhi.

• The installation of this monumental clock underscores CSIR’s commitment to raising awareness about climate change and its adverse effects.
• During the inauguration ceremony, Professor Chetan Singh Solanki of IIT Bombay and Founder of Energy Swaraj Foundation emphasized the urgent need for energy literacy among citizens.
• He stressed the importance of every individual’s responsibility to minimize energy consumption to combat climate change effectively.
