    Surya Sen :

    • Surya Sen had actively participated in the non-cooperation movement and was popularly known as Master. Arrested and imprisoned for two years, from 1926 to 1928, for revolutionary activities, he continued to work in the Congress.
    • Surya Sen, a brilliant andinspiring organizer, was an unpretentious, softspoken, and transparently sincere person. He was fond of saying: ‘Humanism is a special virtue of a revolutionary’.
