Context:

=> The area is located at the confluence of Bridhaganga (Burigonga) river and the Brahmaputra.

=> With 27 different devalayas (temples), and proposed construction of a ropeway to connect the river island Uma Tumani from Biswanath Ghat, there is a huge potential for rural tourism here.
