Gujarat, Rajasthan rank top two investment destinations

As per a data by the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE), Gujarat and Rajasthan are the top Indian states in the area of investments.

Both the states have been successful in attracting investments from both domestic and international businesses.
Fresh investments worth Rs 3.98 trillion were announced for Gujarat during the financial year 2021-22.
It represented a 273 per cent increase over the FY 2021 figure of Rs 2.91 trillion.
Rajasthan witnessed the highest rate of growth during the period, soaring by almost 535 percent and attracting new investments worth Rs 2.37 trillion.
