Manoj and his wife Swathi fill a tank with water fetched from a well. Manoj fetches 5 litres of water in 4 minutes whereas

Swathi fetches 4 litres of water in 5 minutes. Find the time taken by them together to fetch 205 litres of water.

- Manoj fetches 5 litres in 4 minutes. So, in 1 minute, he fetches 1.25 litres.

- Swathi fetches 4 litres in 5 minutes. So, in 1 minute, she fetches 0.8 litres.

- Together, in 1 minute, they fetch 1.25 + 0.8 = 2.05 litres.

- To fetch 205 litres, the time taken is: 205 litres / 2.05 litres per minute = 100 minutes.

- Option 1 (2 hours): This is 120 minutes, which is not correct.

- Option 2 (80 minutes): This is too short.

- Option 3 (100 minutes): This is correct.
