Gujarat ‘Mission School of Excellence Project’

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and the World Bank will be providing a Rs 7,500 crore loan for the government of Gujarat’s Mission School of Excellence project.

Overview:

A World Bank delegation visited Gandhinagar to gather information and study the School of Excellence project.
This delegation was led by Jaime Saavedra, the bank’s Global Education Director.
The state’s education department’s command and control centre was also visited by the delegation.
