A passenger train that runs at the speed of 78 km/h leaves the station 8 hours after the goods train left and overtakes it is 5 hours. What is the speed of goods train?

Explanation:

Let the speed of the goods train be=x km/hr

So the distance traveled in 8 hr by goods train= 8x km

Relative speed of both train in same direction= (78- x) km/hr
