=> The three-day India Travel Mart (ITM) organized in association with Uttarakhand Tourism Development Council concluded on February 19, 2022.

• Uttarakhand got Best Stall Award in Home Stay and Tourism Investment Promotion in this Mart.

Key Points:

=> At the conclusion event, Uttarakhand Tourism was awarded the Best Stall Award for promoting Uttarakhand and Dholavira (World UNESCO Heritage Site) and Statue of Unity in Home Stay, Adventure and Tourism Investment Promotion.

=> Yogendra Kumar Gangwar, Deputy Director, Uttarakhand Tourism Development Council, said that continuous work is being done to develop a predetermined destination for tourism in Uttarakhand.

=> To make travel more enjoyable and hassle free for the tourists.

=> Ajay Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director, ITM Group, said that India Travel Mart has provided an opportunity for networking with travel agents and tour operators from Uttarakhand and Pan India to promote the tourism industry.

=> Information on wildlife tourism, heritage tourism, adventure and eco tourism, religious and pilgrimage, beaches, cuisine, fairs and festivals was given at the Mart.
