Why in News?

=> In a meeting organized by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar through video conferencing, the progress of 'Mukhyamantri Rural Solar Street Light Scheme' under 'Mukhyamantri 7 Nishchay Yojana-2' was reviewed.

Key Points:

=> In the meeting, the officers were instructed to start the implementation of Mukhyamantri Gramin Solar Street Light Scheme from April 15.

=> On a pilot basis, it will be started in at least one panchayat in all the districts.

=> Under this scheme, solar lights will be installed on the village roads and other important places.

=> Responsibility of conducting a survey in this regard was given to the head of each village. In this survey it was asked to select the villages and the places where solar lights would be installed.

• Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme
• Har Ghar Bijli Yojana
• Ghar tak Pakki Gali-Naliyan
• Awsar Badhe, Aage Padhein Har Ghar Nal Ka Jal Scheme
• Aarakshit Rozgar, Mahilaon ka Adhikar Scheme
• Shauchalay Nirman Ghar ka Samman
