World’s third largest cricket stadium to be constructed in Jaipur

The world’s third largest cricket stadium is planned to be constructed in the Pink City, Jaipur, in Rajasthan.
The new stadium will have the capacity to accommodate 75,000 people, and shall be constructed in two phases.
It will be constructed on around 100 acres of land.
The project will be completed in 2.5 – 3 years.
The overall cost of the project is estimated at Rs 650 crore.
World’s largest cricket stadium – Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
World’s second largest cricket stadium – Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Australia.
