India commemorated the ‘Chabahar Day’ on March 04, 2021 on the sidelines of the Maritime India Summit-2021 which was held from March 2-4, 2021.
The virtual event was attended by ministers from Russia, Afghanistan, Armenia, Iran, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
The commemoration was part of the strategy of India to boost its involvement in the Chabahar Port, which is New Delhi’s key gateway to Afghanistan.
