Soma Mondal takes charge as new SAIL Chairman

Soma Mondal has taken over as the new Chairman of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) with effect from January 01, 2021.
She is the first-ever women-head of the body.
She replaces Anil Kumar Chaudhary, who superannuated on 31 December 2020.
Prior to this, Soma was the Director (Commercial) of SAIL.
