Context: Recently, Mera Gaon Mera Gaurav initiative was taken by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) under Swachhta Pakhwada.
About Mera Gaon Mera Gaurav initiative

• The initiative seeks to promote the direct interface of scientists with the farmers to hasten the lab to land process.

Objective

• To provide farmers with required information, knowledge and advisories on regular basis by adopting villages.

Implementation

• Scientists will select villages as per their convenience and act as a resource person for these selected villages.
• They will provide information to the farmers on technical and other related aspects through personal visits or a telephone.
