    Explanation:
    • Benzene (CAS Registry Number 71-43-2; C6H6; molecular weight 78.1 g/mol) is an aromatic compound with a single six-member unsaturated carbon ring. It is a clear, colourless, volatile, highly flammable liquid with a characteristic odour and a density of 874 kg/m3 at 25 °C .
    • Benzene is a by-product of the combustion of tobacco in cigarettes. Exposure can occur occupationally and domestically as a result of the ubiquitous use of benzene-containing petroleum products, including motor fuels and solvents. Active and passive exposure to tobacco smoke is also a significant source of exposure.
    • Some industries use benzene to make other chemicals that are used to make plastics, resins, and nylon and synthetic fibers. Benzene is also used to make some types of lubricants, rubbers, dyes, detergents, drugs, and pesticides.
    • Benzene, ethylene glycol or formaldehyde could be released from varnished wooden furniture or new carpets.
    • Human exposure to benzene has been associated with a range of acute and long-term adverse health effects and diseases, including cancer and aplastic anaemia.
    • Benzene is highly volatile, and exposure occurs mostly through inhalation.1–3 Public health actions are needed to reduce the exposure of both workers and the general population to benzene.
    • Polyurethane (PUR and PU) is a polymer composed of organic units joined by carbamate (urethane) links. While most polyurethanes are thermosetting polymers that do not melt when heated, thermoplastic polyurethanes are also available.

    Hence all statements are correct.
