Peacock throne was made for the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. It was the most precious throne of that time. it was embedded with pearls and diamonds. It was made of gold,silver and other expensive metals.

But in 1729, Nadir Shah,a Turkish invader looted India. He took away gold,silver,elephants,camels,horses and even took the peacock throne.
