The Vijayanagara empire was established in 1336 AD and continued to remain influential in the present day Karnataka region till the mid of 15th century. During the same period, Bahamani Kingdom was established in 1347 AD and the two kingdoms were constantly at disputes for the territories, economic wealth and resources. In this time period we observe, Mohammad-Bin-Tughlaq had a dominant control in North of India as the ruler from 1325 AD to 1350 AD.
