Explanation:

When divided by 15,
it leaves remainder 7.
So we can say the number is … 15x + 7.
Now thrice of number is 3(15x +7) = 45x + 21.
Now this number is divided by 5 ….here we can write 45x/5 + 21 /5.
So here 45x /5 gives 9x. So the remainder will be due to of 21.
So we can say the remainder will be 1 .
