Punjab govt starts free health insurance scheme for farmers

Punjab govt. starts Ayushman Bharat Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana for farmers, kisan can avail free treatment of Rs. 5 lakh in any govt. / empanelled private hospitals under AB-SSY health insurance scheme.

People can avail cashless and paperless treatment at empanelled government and private hospitals. All the farmers who had sold their produce in FY 2018 & 2019 can avail benefits of free health treatment scheme.

The state govt. has started toll free number 104 for farmers to avail benefits of Punjab Ayushman Bharat Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana. Farmers can visit websites for AB-SSY at www.mandiboard.nic.in or www.shapunjab.in for further details.
