Chenani-Nashri tunnel renamed renamed after Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee .

• It is also known as the Patnitop tunnel. It is the longest tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir and is located on National Highway (NH) 44.
• The tunnel bypasses snow-bound upper reaches and provides a safe, all- weather route to commuters travelling from Jammu and Udhampur to Ramban, Banihal and Srinagar.
• It also boasts features like Integrated Traffic Control System (ITCS), Video Surveillance System, FM Rebroadcast System, Entrance Detection Control System and Active Firefighting System.
