What is LSAT India?

Law School Admission Test (LSAT) - India is an entrance exam conducted by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate law courses. The test is conducted to shortlist law aspirants for admission in undergraduate and postgraduate level courses offered at more than 85 law colleges in India. 

LSAT India 2021 Eligibility Criteria

For appearing in the law entrance exam, LSAC has not mentioned any specific eligibility criteria however, candidates should fulfil the eligibility criteria for UG and PG law courses offered at the accepting law colleges as under:

Q: How LSAT India is different from other law entrance exams such as CLAT and AILET?

A: LSAT India is a standardised test with a uniform pattern and single question paper for admissions to five-year integrated LLB courses, three-year LLB course, LLM course or PhD course in Law. Candidates can take the exam for admissions to more than 85 private law colleges in India. Whereas, CLAT and AILET have separate question papers for UG and PG courses. On the basis of CLAT scores, admissions are offered at 22 NLUs and accepting colleges, check the list of NLUs here. Through AILET only NLU Delhi and a few private law colleges in India. Q: Is there any sectional time limit to attempt the LSAT India exam?

A: Yes, each section has a time limit of 35 minutes and candidates have to attempt the paper in the same duration. 

Q: What subjects are included in the LSAT India question paper?

A: The question paper of LSAT India is based on - Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning 1 & 2 and Reading Comprehension. 

Q: Is there a mock test facility available to prepare for the LSAT India exam?
