A trader sells rice at a profit of 20% and uses weights which are 10% less than the correct weight. The total gain earned by him is:

Let the cost price of item be 100 Rs / kg.

So he weighs 0.9 kg whose cost price is 90 Rs.

So take profit of 20 % of 100, So he sells at 120 Rs.

Net profit = 120-90 = 30.

Gain % = (30/90) * 100 = 33.33%
