Let the person takes 3th to reach his distination with a speed of 40km/hr. Distance Travelled = 40 x 3 = 120 km/hr. Now distance travelled in 2/3 (3t)h = 60 t Distance travelled in t hrs finally = 120t - 60t = 60t km. Speed = Distance/ Time = 60t /t = 60 km/hr.
