    Explanation:

    Let the original cost be x, so the new cost is 0.8x.
    So, originally, 100/x pens could be bought.
    100/x + 10 = 100/0.8x
    On solving, we get:
    10 = ( 100 - 80)/0.8x
    8x = 20
    x = 2.5
    So, the new price of each pen is
    0.8 × 2.5 = Rs. 2
