Select the answer from the codes given below-
1 and 2 only
Incorrect Answer2 and 3 only
Incorrect AnswerAll of the above
Correct AnswerExplanation:
The estimation of retreat of Gangotri glacier has been measured using rapid static and kinematic GPS survey. The Gangotri is one of the largest Himalayan glaciers in Uttarkashi district, Uttarakand. The glaciers originate at about 7100 meter above the sea level and are 30.2 km long with a width that varies between 0.5 and 2.5 km. The River Bhagirathi, one of the main tributaries of the Ganga, originates from Gangotri glacier. Hence option 4th is correct.
