RIGHTS
MEANING
With regard to rights there are broadly three theories (a) The theory of Natural Rights and Natural Law which states that natural law confers some natural rights on the individuals. These rights are not created by the state but are protected and maintained by the state, (b) The Legal school of thought which states that, the sovereignty of the state is the source of all authority, (c) The Economic theory states that, rights are the reflection of economic conditions of the state. These rights are enjoyed by the people not in their personal or private capacity but in the capacity of being the citizens of that particular state.
