If a car runs at 45km/hr, it reaches its destination late by 10 min but if runs at 60km/hr it is late by 4min. What is the correct time for the journey?
24min
14min
32min
20min
Solution: Distance = diff in time *(S1*S2)/S1-S2 D=[10-4]/60hr * (45*60)/[60-45] = 6/60 * 45*60/15 ==>18km time T=D/S(take any one of the speed) 18/45 =2/5hrs = 2/5*60=24min then correct time is 24-10=14mins.
