Let the price of the article but by Puja be Rs.x
MP for Puja =x+30% of x = Rs.1.3x
SP for Puja = 1.3x*0.88 = Rs.1.144x
MP for Priya = 1.144x * 1.5 = Rs.1.716x
SP for Priya = 1.716x*0.75 = 1.287x
Now, 1.287x – 1.144x = 1001 => x = Rs.7000
