Two buses starts from A and B towards each other respectively. They meet at a point X. the speed of buses are 50km/hr and 60km/hr. when they met they found that faster train covers 40km more than the slower. Find the distance between A and B.
400km
420km
440km
480km
Solution: The bus which is faster covers 10km more in an hour. So for 40km it has to take 4hrs. Now the time both the train travelled in 4hrs….. Distance = speed * time (50+60)=110 110*4= 440
