    Explanation:

    Solution: 
    B/A = 2/3 and A/C = 1/2
    So B : A : C = 2*1 : 3*1 : 3*2 = 2 : 3 : 6
    So 6x – 2x = 24, 4x = 24, x = 6
    So total of their present ages = (2+3+6)*6. So average = (2+3+6)*6 / 3 = 22 years
