Two Rabbits started running towards each other, one from A to B and another from B to A. They cross each other after 1.2 hours and the first Rabbit reaches B, 1 hour before the second rabbit reaches A. If the distance between A and B is 60 km, what is the speed of the slower rabbit?
10 kmph
15 kmph
25 kmph
20 kmph
Solution: Let speed of faster rabbit = x & speed of slower rabbit = y x + y = 60/1.2 x + y = 50 —- (A) 60/y – 60/x = 1 —- (B) Solve equations, we get y = 150 and 20 bt y cannot be 120 as x+y = 50. So y = 20 kmph and x = 30 kmph
