A rectangular box is of length, height and breadth is to be made of tin. What is the area of tin sheet required if the box has lid also

Length=15cm,Breadth=20cm,Height=12cm

Quantity 2:

Length=17cm,Breadth=19cm,Height=9cm

Quantity 1 ≥ Quantity 2

Quantity 1 = Quantity 2 (or) No relation

Quantity 1 > Quantity 2

Quantity 1 ≤ Quantity 2

Quantity 1 < Quantity 2

Quantity 1:

Length=15,breadth=20,height=12

Total surface area=2(l×w+w×h+l×h)

=2(15×20+20×12+15×12)

=2(300+240+180)

=2(720)

=1440

Quantity 2:

Length=17,breadth=19,height=9

Total surface area=2(l×w+w×h+l×h)

=2(17×19+19×9+9×17)

=2(323+171+153)

=2(647)

=1294

Hence Quantity 1 > Quantity 2

Hence, option 3 is the correct answer.
