Breadth of the rectangular tank = 11 m
Let the height of the rectangular tank be =h m
Volume of the rectangular tank = length *breadth * height
=15*11*h m³…………………………………………. (i)
Given,
Radius of the cylindrical tank = 21/2 m = 10.5 m
Height of the tank = 5 m
Volume of the cylindrical tank -= ∏×r²×h
= ∏×10.5²×5 ……………………………(ii)
Since equation i and ii are having same volumes so, equating both equations
We get,
165 * h=∏×10.5²×5
h= 10.5 m
The height of the tank is 10.5 m
