Let the numbers be: a < b < c
According to the question,
(a + b +c)/(3 × 3) = c – 8
= a + b + c = 9c – 72 ………. (i)
Again, a + b = 16
∴ 16 + c = 9c – 72
= 9c – c = 72 + 16
= 8c = 88
