Of 120 people in a room, 3/5 is women. If 2/3 of the people are married, what is the maximum number of women in the room, who could be unmarried?

3/5 of 120 people are women
therefore 72 are women
and 48 are men

now
2/3rd of the people are married
therefore 80 are married
this means that 40 men are married to 40 women

therefore no. of women unmarried = 72-40 = 32

Hence, option 1 is the correct answer.
