The following table shows the ratio of time taken by boys and girls

A and G started a work. After 3 days A left the work and D joined the work. After One more day G also left find in how much time D complete the remaining work.

Time taken by G to do work = 15/3 × 4 = 20
Let total work = LCM (10, 18, 20) = 180 unit
One day work of A = 180/10 = 18 unit
One day work of G = 180/20 = 9 unit
One day work of D = 180/18 = 10 unit

Work done by A and G in 3 days = (18 + 9) × 3 = 81 unit

Work done by G and D in 1 day = (10 + 9) × 1= 19 unit

Remaining work = 180 - (81 + 19) = 80 unit
