Here n(T)=6×6=36

Let E be the event "getting sum less than 5" i.e. sum of pair of dice =2,3,4

i.e A={ (1,1),(1,2),(1,3),(2,1),(3,1)}

Thus n(A)=5

Therefore required probability=n(A)/n(T)

=5/36
