3.6 kmph = (3.6 ×5/18) m/sec = 1m/sec and

Let the speed of the train be x m/sec
Then, (x-1)×7.5 = (x-1.5)×7.8
7.5x - 7.5 = 7.8x - 11.7
0.3x = 4.2
x = 14
Speed of the train = 14×18/5 kmph
= 50.4 kmph
