⇒ Factors of 2 = 2 and 1 only.
As it satisfy prime number properties so 2 is a prime number.
2) 4 is a composite number.
Composite number: It is a natural number that has at least one divisor different from unity.
⇒ Factors of 4 = 4, 2 and 1.
So, 4 is a composite number.
∴ Both statements are true.
