    Explanation:
    As ∠B + ∠D = 180°
    and ∠A + ∠C = 180°
    So, x + 10 + 5y + 5 = 180°
    or, x + 5y = 165°    ....(i)
    And 2x + 4 + 4y – 4 = 180°
    or, 2x + 4y = 180°      ....(ii)
    Solving (i) and (ii), we get
    x = 40° and y = 25°
    Hence, x + y = 40° + 25° = 65°
