At Rs. 94 per unit, Rs. 28200 will get him = 28200 /94 = 300 units These when sold at 106 give him Rs. 31800. This is invested in 6% stock at 100. This gets him = 31800 /100 = 318 units This stock is then sold when it is quoting at 107 giving him 318 × 107 = Rs. 34026 His overall profit = 34026 – 28200 = Rs. 5826.
