S.I. = 1200
Time = 3 years
Rate = R
P = 8000
1200 = 8000 × R × 3 /100
R = 120 /8 x 3 = 5%
New Rate = 5 + 2 = 7%.
S.I. = 8000 × 7 × 3 /100
= 21 × 80 = 1680
Amount that she would got = 8000 + 1680 = 9680.
