    A car during its journey travels 30 minutes at a speed of 40 km/hr, another 45 minutes at a speed of 60 km/hr, and 2 hours at a speed of 70 km/hr. The average speed of the car is

    Explanation:
    First car travels 30 min at speed of 40 kmph 
    distance = 40 x 1/2 = 20 m
    Then car travels 45 min at a speed of 60 kmph 
    distance = 45 min at speed of 60 kmph
    distance = 60 x 3/4 = 45 m
    at last it travels 2 hours at speed of 70 kmph
    distance = 70 x 2 = 140 m
    Total distance = 20 + 45 + 140 = 205
    Total time= 1/2 + 3/4 + 2 = 3.25
    Average speed of the car = 205/3.25 = 63.07(approx.)
    Hence, option 1 is the correct answer.
