Let the sides of the triangle are a,b and c respectively.

3x + 4x + 5x = 36 cm

12x = 36 cm

x = 3 cm

a = 9 cm, b = 12 cm, c = 15 cm

s = (a + b + c)/2 = 36/2 = 18 cm

Area = sq.{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)}

= sq.{18(18 - 9)(18 - 12)(18 - 15)}

= sq.{18*9*6*3} = 54 sq cm
